Re: Rep. Gary Condit (D-CA)
It isn't about sex. It's about character, lying, arrogance and total abuse of power.
When a leader's actions defame and emasculate our country as profoundly as he has, it is no longer a personal matter among him or his family or his lawyer.
This country is way-way-way above Condit, not the reverse. Gary Condit should be removed immediately from office - either by the Ethics Committee or by being recalled by his constituents.

Re: Linda Tripp
Your link to "Linda Tripp just won't go away" failed to mention the only reason that Linda Tripp recorded her conversations with Monica Lewinsky.
Ms. Tripp had been asked to lie, commit perjury, before a Federal Grand Jury, in order to protect Bill Clinton from public knowledge of his numerous affairs with women outside of his marriage.
To blame Ms. Tripp for Clinton's personal failings as a decent President is hardly fair. The blame lies with Clinton and Lewinsky, not Linda.
So true. It is a non-issue except for the Clintonista-Goreismic-Kennedyites and their cronies in the leftwork TV medium.
Jack Kennedy would not have gotten thru a publicized physical condition had it not been covered-up about his Addison's disease. Even to the extent of his 'all image, no substance' aura that he looked 'well tanned.' Discoloration is one of the symptoms of Addison's.
Eisenhower and LBJ had serious heart attacks in office with hardly a ripple in comparison to what's being splashed all over the news now.

Re: H.R. 72 [which concerns the former spouse retired pay reform].
I know I am writing this letter with the support of many retired and active duty veterans.
Granted, some former spouse are entitled to a member retired pay, but once a spouse remarries their entitlements should stop immediately. It should not continue for ever. This action would not cost the goverment any additional funds for its approval. It would be a cost savings in writing additional check and record keeping.
