Instructions for Adding News Box Features
|
Just follow these simple steps outlined below to add the News Box feature and eight additional pages of content that will enhance the experience of visitors to your website.
- Fill out the Application Form and Syndication Agreement.
- Create a sub-directory in the main document directory of your website and name it: politicsol
- Create nine new pages using your existing website template, placing them in the newly created politicsol sub-directory and name them as follows: box.html, bushadm.html, congress.html, media.html, stategov.html, sy1.html, sy2.html, sy3.html and sy4.html
- Make sure that you have a table cell that is at least 460 pixels wide on each of your new pages for the syndicated content.
- Click on the names of the pages above and add the corresponding JavaScript code that will appear in the popup window to the appropriate newly created page in the table cell where you want it to appear.
- Click on links to the images below and save them to the politicsol sub-directory on your site. Make sure you do NOT change their names.

- Update your site navigation so that your visitors can get to your box.html page. That's it!
